Meet the inventor behind GrowVaz™
Ravi Malhotra — Founder & Inventor, AART MART
For over four decades, Ravi has worked in packaging design, helping products compete, stand apart and connect emotionally in international markets. Through AART MART, his work has supported export-oriented clients across Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, South Korea and the United States, specialising in systems using paper, jute and cotton-based materials.
Packaging defines and communicates the product story—through its look and feel.
A persistent question shaped the invention: can packaging continue adding value long after the initial product experience ends? Nearly two years of thought, prototypes, material experiments, structural failures and repeated refinements led to the final working GrowVaz system.
GrowVaz was created so emotions need not disappear as quickly as cut flowers. What begins as flower gifting can later become a vase, hydroponic grow system, indoor planter, hanging garden or a meaningful gift passed forward.
Continuing innovation
Alongside GrowVaz, Ravi is developing SuraaFrost™, a portable wine, champagne and cold-beverage gifting and cooling system, and VavLUXE™, a hybrid jute-or-cotton and paper construction system intended to enable premium recyclable packaging with reduced plastic dependency.
Designed in India, his work continues to focus on thoughtful, practical and environmentally responsible innovation with global relevance.
